We have profiled the following areas/ Initiatives for possible funding/ donations:
Provision of safe drinking water through sunk wells (boreholes) to the fish landing communities in Buikwe & Mukono Districts.
The communities shall reap both health and productivity gains there from.
Infrastructure Support and Scholastic Materials' Donations to selected Schools
To seek out schools with highly underprivileged leaners and poor infrastructure for support with desks, tables, Solar solutions, classrooms, text books, exercise books, bags, etc
Afforestation and Reforestation Initiatives in all of the regions of Uganda
Special emphasis shall be placed on seedlings donations through faith institutions, schools, community groups and families so as to support eco system recovery. Emphasis shall be on trees with multiple value: wind cover, human nutrition, foliage for animals, fire wood, and possibly revenue generation.
Advocacy Outreaches for Vulnerable persons and Groups including creation of "safe" spaces.
To form partnerships with faith institutions, Village Health Teams, local government offices (Police, LCs, ) to champion the rights, protection & support of vulnerable persons.
Skilling/ Economic Empowerment Initiatives for vulnerable groups in each of the regions of Uganda
We target to impart market relevant skills to select vulnerable groups like teenage mothers, Single/widowed mothers, victims of GBV, unemployed youths, physically handicapped, etc. Some interventions may need initial/ working capital support as well.
